Includes clinicians in training, who hold NPIs and are numerous near a teaching hospital. Exclude them.

The window is a preview: it shows what would have reached you over that period. Alerts send weekly, and only when something new matches.

Nothing in that window.

Widen the date range or the radius. In a small area, ninety days can genuinely contain no new registrations.

What "added" means

The date is when CMS issued the NPI, which is the only timing the registry records. For a clinician that is a reasonable proxy for entering practice — but a provider who changes employer, moves state or joins a new group keeps the same NPI and will not appear here.

Addresses are what the provider filed with CMS. They are frequently a billing office rather than where anyone sees patients, and the registry has no retirement field — some records belong to people who have stopped practising.
